• Operation

General

The UHZ/AR is an auxiliary powered, signal converter for frequency

based signals. It has two alarm channels and a digital display built in.

The maximum input frequency of 10 kHz (with overrange to 16 kHz).

Input type selection

To set up the unit for a particular input waveform you set the input

trigger/reset voltages using the input type setting. The trigger/reset

voltages are shown in a table on page 23. Use contact closure type for

volt-free contacts as this includes debouncing (maximum frequency

10 Hz). All other input types shown use the high level dc setting. If you

need more help with this selection, please contact technical support.
